Important Update: UK Biometric Residence Permits (BRPs) and Introduction of eVisas

At Kuwait Airways, we want to ensure all our valued passengers are informed of the latest travel requirements to the UK. The UK Government is transitioning from physical immigration documents to eVisas and introducing the Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) for short stays.

These changes aim to streamline the travel process and improve border security.

Key Information for Passengers

1.For UK Visa Holders with a Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) or Card (BRC):

  • Access your eVisa before traveling to the UK.
  • Ensure your passport details are up to date to avoid any disruptions during your journey.
  • Visit GOV.UK for more information and to complete any necessary steps.

2. If You Already Have an eVisa:

  • Confirm your travel document is correctly registered with your eVisa account.
  • If your passport details have changed, update them through the UK Government website: Update Details on GOV.UK.

3. For Passengers Without a Visa (Short Stays up to 6 Months):

  • An Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) will soon be required to travel to the UK.
  • Check when you need an ETA and apply online at: GOV.UK ETA Information.

Deadline for compliance:

All travelers must ensure that their documents are updated or apply for the electronic travel Authorization (ETA) before 2025 to avoid any travel delays.

Travel with Confidence

Kuwait Airways is committed to providing you with a smooth and comfortable journey. To avoid delays, we encourage all passengers to review and complete these new requirements well in advance of their travel date.
